Welcome to the CP Jungle!
The CP Jungle is a grower and importer of rare and exotic plants such as Nepenthes. We have been growing and propagating these plants for over 30 years.

Update  - January 6th, 2009

                 S. flava ssp. rugelii and S. leucophylla in the Florida panhandle

We resumed shipping on Monday, January 5th. Due to inclimate weather here in Memphis, we were not able to get every order out, but hope to be caught up by Tuesday, January 6th.

On Wednesday, January 7th, we will activate the plant sniping software.  Click Here to read up on plant sniping. It will be important to get your snipes in early, especially in order to grab the upcoming EP import plants.

2009 will be a very exciting year. We should get confirmation of our next Exotica Plants order within a few days.   Please set up your snipes for these plants as soon as possible, as this will automatically reserve these plants for you if and when they are confirmed.

We will also be receiving in the first BE import of the year in late January or early February,  which will contain the N. jambans. We have made a few more N. jambans available for preordering, but once they are gone, we may not be able to secure any more of them for some time.

One change to the ordering system is that of insurance for shipping.  As of January 1, 2009, all orders will have insurance in the amount of 1.5% of the order item total charged.  This 1.5% only includes plants and other items on the order, it does not include shipping and handling. This amount is substantially less than the amount USPS charges for insurance.  Our shipping charges are, by far,  amongst the lowest in the industry. Even with the box charges included, the total amount of shipping charges came to just 8.5% of the order total for every order in 2008.  Even with the additional insurance charge, our total shipping charges will remain incredibly low, and will allow us to properly insure perishable items in transit.

Some guy with really bad hair lounging among S. oreophila in North Eastern Alabama. You can get an idea of how thick the grasses were next to the stand of plants, as it appears that I only have one arm.

As always, I'll try to give everyone 2-3 days notice of when I will make these plants available.  Below is a VERY PARTIAL list of some of the plants we have requested.
