Examples of cultivar descriptions have appeared in recent issues
of Carnivorous Plant Newsletter.
You may wish to study them as models. Names of cultivar-groups
must also be registered with the ICPS. A cultivar-group is a set
of cultivars which all have some unifying characteristics. A published
description is likewise required for establishment. Below is a set
of forms that you may download to register your cultivar or cultivar-group name(s). The Registration
Form is the document you use to register the names of your cultivars
or cultivar-groups.
The Sample Completed Form is an example of the Registration form
already completed for a cultivar. Do not use it to submit your own
cultivar or cultivar-group name!
All the documents are available in Canada/US/Mexico format (8-1/2"
x 11") or A4 format (210mm x 297mm). You may download the documents
as either MS Word or Adobe Acrobat format (the Adobe Acrobat reader
may be downloaded for free here).
If you have additional questions regarding the ICRA registration
process, you can direct them to the ICPS Registrar, Jan
Schlauer.
